Alyson is a Registered Massage Therapist with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) since 2009. Alyson is from the 1000 Islands, and came to Ottawa in 2006 for the Massage Therapy Program at Algonquin College. She is also an active member of the Registered Massage Therapy Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Alyson has been practicing for 13 years in various settings. This includes a Spa, Physiotherapy clinic and a Massage Therapy Clinic. Alyson has taken a hot stone and aromatherapy course, as well as Reiki Level 1. Alyson enjoys using a variety of techniques and remedial exercise to suit the needs, and goals of all her clients. She really enjoys creating treatment plans with her clients to achieve the best possible results together. She strives to make sure all her clients feel comfortable, safe and listened to. She performs treatments from relaxation and tension relief, to working with challenged tissue and injuries. Alyson has treated many conditions and issues over the course of her career so far. Alyson hopes to continue to expand her knowledge, gain new skills and learn techniques throughout her career. Alyson also believes in the power of a great relaxation treatment for general well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys family activities with her two kids and husband. Alyson also loves getting active, time with family and friends, and cooking. She truly believes she has the most wonderful clients and looks forward to every treatment with them. Alyson is also a Faces Magazine Award Nominee for Ottawa’s Massage Therapist 2020 & 2021.
